Karla Delgado, LMSW
CLINICIAN at HHM HEALTH CLINIC
Karla Delgado is a bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), fluent in English and Spanish, dedicated to supporting children, individuals, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth. She earned both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington, with her graduate education focused on mental health.
Karla has experience working directly with neurodivergent children through providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. In this role, she supported children with their individual developmental and behavioral needs while helping foster communication, social, emotional, and daily living skills. Working closely with children and their families has strengthened her understanding of individualized care and reinforced her belief that every child deserves to be understood, supported, and celebrated for who they are.
Across her education and professional experiences, Karla has developed a deep passion for mental health, child and family well-being, trauma-informed care, and empowerment. Karla approaches her work from a strengths-based, compassionate, and culturally responsive perspective. As a bilingual social worker, she values the ability to provide support in both English and Spanish and believes language and culture play an important role in creating meaningful therapeutic relationships. She strives to create a warm, safe, and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their stories, exploring their emotions, identifying their strengths, and working toward meaningful change.
